Nowadays, you just don't see lines like, "Only a desperate situation like this would bring me to fire an atomic-warhead arrow!"

Fortunately for all of Ollie's teammates who were in the same bloody room, the bad guy swallowed the arrow.

Um.

Yeah, much as I'm a JLA fan, the O'Neill/Wein/Conway eras couldn't come fast enough. A little Gardner Fox goes a long way.

I saw a very cool Nascar commercial on the tell last night, drawn by Frank Miller. I squealed with joy, actually, and then promptly forgot to tell you *or* captain_slinky. Oops. (Btw, he's a much of a comic freak as you - he used to own a comic book store, even - I think you guys would like each other.
