Hello from AZ!

yendiI made it in safely yesterday, and am enjoying the nice weather out here. Registered for the conference (initial swag includes a generic Blackboard bag and t-shirt, not the most impressive swag for a company that's about to file an IPO), went to new restaurant (Portland's) with my mom, and ate scallops and a nice pork chop.
Flight was okay (although Delta's new policy of charging you $8 to buy a sandwich on a 4 hour flight proves that they're still fucking pigs instead of giving a rat's ass about customers), and the hotel is decent enough. They provide the important ammenities, which means that I'm currently drinking my free coffee and reading the review of the new E. L. dixie, you knew this existed already, right?) in my free USA Today, while sitting in an Aeron chair.
I won't even try to keep up with reading LJ during this time, and other than morning posts like this, I doubt I'll be posting anything exciting. I apologize, but if I need to know something,email me.
