So, looking at the Dekalb school calendar for next year to see if I'd once again get the opportunity to take vacation time on my birthday to babysit thanks to a stupidly-timed Spring Break (answer, of course, is yes), I see that some fuckwit scheduled a teacher workday for Election Day.

What the fuck?

So now, not only does one of us have to take the day off, but voting is all but fucking impossible (since my polling place is a forty minute walk, because some gerrymandering asshole didn't want me voting in the church across the street, and I can't exactly drag Miss Kid along quite that far). Motherfuckers.

I need to find a Dekalb School board member or three and slap them silly.

Suggestion: slap the school board member WITH the gerrymandering asshole. That way you get two idiots off the face of the earth for the price of one.
