What an incredibly unimpressive penultimate episode.

One of the oldest plots in the book, made even more hackneyed because, instead of subtlety dropping it into episodes for weeks, they just sprung it at us, so it was too damned easy to figure out where it was going. Which isn't to say there weren't good moments, but it just could have (and should have) been so much more.

Yeah. The show sucks now. I'm glad it's ending.

Thanks WB for ruining a decent series.

How is the WB ruining the series? Does the blame not fall on the writers? I think it do.

WB cancelled Angel prematurely, forcing Joss to end the series sooner then he wanted.

Eh, the show was sucking well before the WB pulled the plug. It was a mercy killing.

actually no, these last few episodes had to be rewritten becuase joss found out with only six or so episodes or so to go that the series was getting cancelled. i don't think it sucked last year or earlier this year at all.

We're never going to find out what was up with those cyber-ninjas.

Actually the ratings had vastly improved over last year from what I heard.

You know, I liked this episode. But, then again, I was under the impression that there were still like three episodes left. I mean, why were we wasting time with The Immortal last week? I guess that's what happens when all of the scripts have already been pitched when the axe falls.

WB's letter to Adam

Dear Sir,
In regards to your opinion about our programming I would like to assure you that we are trying our hardest to afflict the public with as much tired and stale intellectual screen antics as our team of alcoholic, furvert writers can cobble together. I would like it to be known that while we are phasing out Angel, we intend to continue to sodomize the hepetitis afflicted corpse that is the star trek franchise. In an effort to bring about a more teen, drug-addict oriented viewership episodes of smallville will now be digitally altered to have Lana Lang and Clark Kent snub each other for the same reasons every 14 minutes of air time. I would tell you more about our reality TV show in which we combine the worlds of grizzly bears and day care centers, but it is time for my 2am 'seal clubbing' session. Once again, sincerely yours; Harold T. Fuckhead
