David Lubar
Oct. 27th, 2004 02:02 pmElayna has recently gotten hooked on David Lubar. She'd read the short story collection In the Land of the Lawn Weenies a while back, and she read his sci-fi novel Flip while we were in Arizona, and has asked for more of his books. I just added Wizards of the Game, about kids who play RPGs and have to deal with the usual close-minded reactions, to her wishlist.
Turns out that he's not only an author, but he's also designed and translated tons of video-games, going back to the Apple 2/Atari 2600 days. Including a whole bunch that I played. So he's been entertaining two generations of our family, in two different media. Nifty!
