OK... So the alleged copyright infringing company is based in the US. So money thaat should be going to a manufacturer in the US... Is instead going to a *different* manufacturer in the US.

How exactly is the US economy threatened by this?

Have I misunderstood? Is "homeland security" supposed to be about protecting the security *of* the homeland, or of every tiny little thing *within* the homeland?
