Crappy day so far
Dec. 6th, 2004 09:10 am1. Late to work by half an hour thanks to horrible unexplained traffic on Clifton.
2. Spent another half an hour unable to do anything thanks to a recurring network issue that's randomly killing MAC addresses on the network, and decided to hit my machines for a while.
3. Have an ongoing issue with Amazon fucking up something that may result in my not receiving a number of gifts that were bought for me, and sending me responses that indicate they don't understand what I spent twenty fucking minutes explaining to a phone rep on Friday. Pigfuckers. Oh, for anyone who ever wants to call Amazon and speak to an incompetent rep (including some who speak English as a second language), instead of sending emails into the great void, you can do so by calling 800-201-7575. I can't imagine why a company with such bad service would make it so hard to contact them. Really. It's almost as if they don't want to help people, and would rather frustrate them into giving up. But no company would ever do that, I'm sure.
4. Have a shitload on the plate today. And it's raining. And I'm still not king.
There's good stuff to write about. I'll put that into another post.
