Growing up in the grim, gang-ridden streets of Alhambra, California, Chi-Lan Lieu knew that she would someday forge a path into the world of technology reporting.

Yes, nothing but the knowledge that she'd one day report on the Great Transformers Comeback saved her from committing Grand Theft Auto. Technology Reporting: Like "Becoming a Veterinarian," only, y'know, not.

Out of curiosity, is there anyone out there who likes G4's new Tech TV? Anywhere? They surely had to think that the demand was for the crap they're showing now, instead of the good stuff that TechTV brought to the merger.

I like some of it, but there's no show that I have any urge to watch regularly.

Screen Savers, for example, isn't as good with the new cast. Judgement Day is okay, but just occassionally. XPlay is still fun, but I never watched it regularly anyway.

Anime Unleashed is still cool :)

*nod* I still like AU, but it's one of the harder ones to mess up (although I did envision them deciding to show nothing but Darkstalkers and Street Fighter when the merger was first announced.

Um. Alhambra is not grim nor gang-ridden. Are they joking? It's like, the Chinese suburb of LA. You probably die of ennui before you die from a bullet.
