As noted in sweinberg's LJ, Stephen Fry will be the voice of the HHGttG! That's excellent news, as the only other person who really could have pulled it off (Michael Palin) is just a little too predictable.

True. I sense that there might have been a little bit of an effort to avoid casting any Python, out of a sense that it seemed too obvious.

Eric has great delivery, but he lacks the smugness of Stephen's voice.
