I was just outbid on this item, and I'm happy about it. Not because I don't want it, but because it's part of a charity auction that Steve Lieber is running for Bill Messner-Loebs, who I've talked about earlier this week. Some good stuff there, for a good cause. Check it out.
Obligatory KOL update: Have now made it to level 22 of the basement, where I'm caught on a mysticality test. Will come back when I've leveled up a bit.
Elsewhere, Dean Wormer is dead. :-( That means no more Toadblatt episodes of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. :-( again. I'll have to re-watch Animal House soon.
Interestingly, he also turns out to have been the voice of Iron Man in the '60s Marvel cartoons (I thought he hadn't started voicework until playing Rupert Thorne in the '90s on Batman: TAS).
I'm assuming most of you have seen the PublishAmerica Sting, in which a group of genre authors got together to write the worst possible novel, just to prove that PA really will publish anything. Start with that first link, then head here for a list of known authors, and here for a nice list of relevant links.
Hey, anyone wanna buy the Brooklyn Bridge?
Off to a meeting. Who the fuck schedules meetings at 9:15 AM on a Friday?
