I've never been a huge A-Rod fan, but he's proving to be a hell of a lot classier than the entire fucking Red Sox team. Really, for a bunch of guys who just won the championship and broke a "curse," they're doing their damnedest to burn through their goodwill and then some.

ETA: [livejournal.com profile] zeyr and [livejournal.com profile] aussie_nyc link to this article, in which the culprit turns out to be the Boston Press Corps, who seem to be to sports reporting what Fox is to news reporting. If I were a member of the BoSox, I think the words "no comment" would be the only ones these leeches would hear from me.

Try this article (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/02/21/sports/baseball/21chass.html?) for another slant on the conflict.

The bulk of this seems to be created by the Boston Media and their slanted questions/slanted reads on answers. The fact that the Boston baseball media is (for the most part) terrible shouldn't be news to anyone.
