Not only was there a video, but it featured Freddy himself in scenes filmed just for the video.

Yes there was! It featured Dokken battling Freddy with the pure thunder of heavy metal! (Or, well, the sound of Dokken, anyway.) The end of the video had Freddy waking up, clutching a doll and saying, "Woah. What a nightmare."
