(I'll probably repost this on Monday, to catch the folks who ignore LJ on the weekends because they have lives.)

Fox is starting a "grass-roots" campaign in support of Arrested Development, which, as you know, is one of the best shows currently on television right now (if you don't know this, you've obviously never seen it).

The site is over here, and if you're concerned about spam, you can sign the pledge without leaving your email address or signing up for the fan club.

(Quick warning -- the site does have some embedded video, so if you're at work, turn your speakers down)

It seems like a good idea. Unlike most fake grass-roots campaigns, this one will actually be mobilizing pre-existing support.

Though, I wish I'd known about it before I bought the Season 1 DVDs last week.

Explain to me why Fox needs to start a campaign to save one of their own shows ...? Either they know it's good -- and that people like it -- or they don't.
