Yes, I turn 33 tomorrow. And yes, I'm aware of the fact that I'll turn 33 and a third in August, but since half the world probably doesn't even know why that number has any meaning, I don't think I'll celebrate that.

But tomorrow? Yeah -- my first time being palindromic in eleven years!

Elsewhere: OJ was at Johnny Cochran's funeral. And you know he had to have vowed to "find the real killer."

Ever wonder about all those things that "change the world?"

One comic I forgot to mention in my roundup yesterday: Mark Waid and Barry Kitson's amazing Legion of Super-Heroes, which continues to be the perfect reboot -- appealing to fans of old continuity, while not confusing the hell out of new readers. It's just a well-written book, period. Which is amazing, really, when you consider the fact that Waid was involved in the last reboot, which blew chunks.

Congress is considering extending Daylight Savings Time, having us Spring Ahead in March, and Fall Behind in November.

This may be my new favorite blog.

Finally, it turns out that The Adventures of Pete and Pete is coming out on DVD in less than two months. Why were there no headlines about this? It's still the only TV series to feature Iggy Pop in a major role, as far as I know.

*sigh* I've left 33 1/3 behind and am heading onwards to 45 and 78...

(don't spoil the pattern- bury me in a cylinder)

33's not so bad. I didn't handle 35 too well. I think I'm locking myself in a hotel room with my .357 and a case of bourbon for my 40th.

The DST thing makes me believe that most of Congress failed basic science in grade school. Last time I checked, the sun doesn't care what time you think it is.

And Happy Birthday! Going to spend half the day introducing yourself as "Madam, I'm Adam"? ;)

Aw, man. And here I was so pleased with myself for being one of the only people who knows the schedule (starts on the first Sunday in April; ends on the last Sunday in October). And that would mean DST can never start on April 1, which is always an easy chance for cruel clock-related lies!

They rebooted Legion again?

I stopped reading somewhere around when they rebooted Dark Adult Legion out of existence.

How about Congress throwing out DST, or something.

That's one of the few reasons I ever considered living in Indiana, never having to change the clocks.

Never underestimate the 33 and a third party. My husband threw one for himself (I threw my own going away party the same day - it was a great dual event) and got a record player as a present ;)
