So, how bad is Stealth?

One of the few positive reviews, Josh Tyler's three-star take at Cinemablend.com, gives it props on the grounds that "Stealth is a movie so bad, it’s almost good."

As for the really negative reviews:

Local critic Eleanor Ringel-Gillespie: Move over, Michael Bay. "The Island" is no longer the loudest, dumbest movie of the summer.

sweinberg: "This movie hated me from the opening scene; two hours later, it was mutual."

Roger Ebert: 'Stealth" is an offense against taste, intelligence and the noise pollution code

Regal Cinemas, the largest theater chain in the US, has a current stock price of 19 cents...

On a happier note, saw Batman Begins Wed...was a very happy boy when I left...VERY worth it

Of course right now the film everyone speaks of here in the Bluff City is Hustle and Flow..

Regal just bought the theater closest to me. First thing they did was raise ticket and snack prices. Bah.

Actually, Regal stock is at 19 dollars, although that doesn't mean they're not in serious trouble.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't love the Island, but it was a good enough popcorn movie. Scarlett Johansson is hot. Steve Buscemi gets killed, and that's always a plus. A lot of product placement; the movie should have been called Microsoft Island 1.0.
