Reading update
Jul. 13th, 2006 08:49 amFinished Blind Lake on Tuesday. It might be my favorite of RCW's novels after Spin. Damned fine.
I started reading the much-hyped His Majesty's Dragon yesterday, and I'm about halfway through it. It's fun fluff -- really little more than a typical boy's adventure (that the hero is a decorated naval officer instead of a ten-year-old boy changes little), but perfectly readable as such things go. And I'm a sucker for the setting itself.
Finally, we got a copy of Crown Duel (by the quite nifty
sartorias) in the mail as well, but
shadesong has dibs on that one.
