Memo to Carol Thatcher and her agent

Your entire fucking reality show career is the result of your family name. So when you make a racist remark and get dropped from a show for it, well, of course it wouldn't have come about if you'd had a different name. Because you'd be a total nobody, instead of the near-nobody you already are. And no one would pay you to be on TV in the first place, then.

(Oh, and if the Beeb's really been handling this as poorly as it sounds like they have -- and the fact that Thatcher's not been fired sure indicates that this is the case -- there need to be some more folks getting dropped from shows. And the network.)

Actually, about the only reason she hasn't been fired is because of her damn name... and you should hear the Tories just about going schizophrenic trying to;
a] distance themselves from her so they won't get any of the splatter on them.
b] defend or at least minimise her remarks because, well, she's Maggie's daughter!

If it wasn't so bloody pathetic, it would be laughable. Of course, the Labour lot are on the war path. The BBc is going to get it in the neck over all this, when they're about the only ones who've done nothing.. but politicians on all sides love sticking the boot into them. Keeps 'em in line when it comes to interviews and the like.
