Wednesday stuff
Aug. 17th, 2005 08:57 amStill swamped. Oh, and the tool I needed to be active this morning is down. God forbid anyone gets any work done before 10.
Watched missed reruns of House and Medium last night, as well as last week's No Reservations (the one with Bourdain in New Jersey). All good, although I really really really hope they write out the middle daughter on Medium. She's got Shirley Temple/Hallie Kate Eisenberg syndrome, and it practically breaks the show.
Now that I've got more icon space, I'm looking for more icons. Anyone know of good locations for DCU, Tick (animated), horror, or anything else that might be nifty? My ideal icon, in fact (if anyone has the time, talent and inclination) would be one of those ipod-icons with Speak from the Tick cartoons, with iSpeak written on it. But yeah, I need more icons than what I've got.
Kid update: Played lots of Powerpuff Girls: Villains at Large (damned fun, and sadly out of print) and Trouble (which will never go out of print, even if there are better games based on the same concept out there). I'm not a huge fan of the latter, but there's nothing wrong with slumming every once in a while. I'm starting to work on the need for her to really think strategically (something relevant even in Trouble) when playing games.
She's having a blast in school, and starting band today! Woohoo!
Still way behind on reading. Two poems away from finishing
yuki_onna's Oracles. Almost finished the latest issue of Rolling Stone (requires less brainpower at the end of the day).
Still not king.
