Drastically overpriced, but I adore that packaging.

This story reminds me that:

A) Whacky, experimental names are why God invented cats.

B) The ability to breed is not a sign of intelligence (even educated fleas do it!).

C) Nonetheless, telling parents that they can't name their son whatever they want is not the government's responsibility.

D) If you really want to use your kid's name to fuck around with, there are many better choices. Like "Q*Bert." Or a 128-Bit random number, preferably one beginning with "09 F9." Or "Paris Hilton."

1. Shortly into Blindsight, [livejournal.com profile] matociquala apparently gets tuckerized as a street corner.

2. My Tivo viewing of Homicide (which has almost come full circle) is up to the episode "Partners and Other Strangers." Harlee McBride's character, Alyssa Dyer, talks about how after Munch, she gave up on dating detectives, and has now found love with a stand-up comedian. McBride, of course, is married in real life to stand-up comic Richard Belzer. Who played Munch on Homicide (and continues to play him on seventy-three other shows).

Damn, that's a good trailer. Of course, it helps to have a good movie to start with. Yeah, I'll be there this fall.

Speed Racer returns this fall, telling the story of Speed's son (presumably Speed, Jr.), the Mach 6, and a robotic Chim-Chim.

Unfortunately, Spritle has not died a painful and lingering death, judging from the article.
