That completely unnecessary remake of The Karate Kid featuring Will Smith's son? Will also have Jackie Chan as Mr. Miyagi. And it's directed by Harald Zwart, who gave us The Pink Panther 2, Agent Cody Banks, and One Night at McCool's

The Deal of the Day is on Emory Alum Kenneth Cole's Reaction Men's New Guy Oxford Shoes, with 70% off most sizes and colors (taking them to about $34.48 a pair for most of the ones I've checked).

The Mid-Season TV Catchup DVD Sale features 164 sets of current or recent shows, most at 45-50% off or more. Highlights include Stargate Atlantis, Bones, The Unit, NCIS, Weeds, Prison Break, South Park, How I Met Your Mother, Criminal Minds, The Simpsons, Swingtown, Numb3rs, and Medium, but there's a lot of other stuff, too.

The latest Boxed Set DVD Sale includes 40-50% off The Bruce Lee Collection, The Man with No Name movies, the Rocky Set, Fox Horror Classics, and sets featuring Mel Brooks, Charlie Chan, John Wayne, Tyrone Power, Peter Sellers, Betty Davis, Laurel and Hardy, and lots of others.

The Indie and International Sale includes 885 discs. A few highlights include Burton's Sweeney Todd at 60% off, Persepolis at 40% off, Eat Drink Man Woman , Ong-Bak, and Thirteen at 43% off each, and King Corn for 46% off. But there are hundreds of items here; it's worth browsing to see what catches your eye.

In video games, you can buy Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party and get the original Rayman Raving Rabbids for free.

In kitchenwares, the Lodge Logic pre-seasoned 5-Quart Dutch Oven (which I own and adore) is $29.99 (32% off). Although that price is only a few dollars cheaper than other place's deals, note that it also ships for free! Since it weighs about a gazillion pounds, that's a nice bargain (shipping at Target, for example, is $13.18).

And finally, the hardcover of Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way is down to $5.49 (77% off, and $.50 cheaper than the paperback bargain version).

Goodbye, #6.

(And John Drake, the head of ConSec, Edward Longshanks, and any number of other roles.)

After the haunted vagina post, I naturally felt the need to read the Wikipedia entry on Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose. It sounds just awful, but I'm not surprised that the article's collective writers felt the need to comment on the breast size (as well as frequent nudity of) assorted characters, as that's clearly what the comic is about.

But nothing amused me as much as this perfect little combination of crappy-comic summary and Wikepedian anal-rentetiveness:

Licky has the smallest breasts of any Tarot character [citation needed].

I do hope someone finds a nice source and provides that citation.

Ah, crap

So I come home to find out that Ricardo Montalban has died, too.
