Anita Blake: The Movie!

yendiIFC is making a TV movie based on the Anita Blake novels. Based on this article, it'll be more horror/action oriented than ZOMG SHE'S IN A THREESOME WITH A WERE-NARWHAL AND A LEPRECHAUN. Although I'm assuming that if the series is successful enough, it'll undergo the same evolution as the books.

I'd expect more of the romance (i.e. sex) heavy series in the sub-genre to be plundered by various networks. Especially ones that can get away with nudity...
