Google seems to be intent on getting rid of stuff that people actually use. A lot of my clients use iGoogle for their home page and none of them have sounded pleased when I pointed out that it is going away later this year.

I suspect that their choices are related to "doesn't make us any money" BUT I'm also pretty sure that most Google Reader users would happily pay and/or perform ritual sacrifices to continue using the service, so I DON'T understand why they didn't consider that option. The money-making option, I mean.
