Julie Schwartz, RIP

yendiPeter David is reporting that Julie passed away this weekend. Julie was one of the first fathers of sci-fi fandom, and the man at DC during much of the Silver Age -- he's up there with Stan Lee in his importance to the industry. I was lucky enough to finally shake his hand at last year's DragonCon. He'll be missed. A lot.
